  • Happy New Year!

  • Happy New Year and hello 2018! As we put Christmas behind us and look forward to the new year it’s always fun to reflect. Think about all the joyous moments we have shared with family, friends and even our cars! You know we must keep everything in perspective! Time seems to quickly slip by and before we know it today has become tomorrow. My question for myself is this, “Was I all that I could be”? In most situations we think of this in terms of financial or athletic success. I am really thinking about the question more in terms of faith and as a person. While my faith has reached unimaginable heights this year, I still see so much opportunity.

I have never been one to set New Year’s resolutions but this year I feel much more compelled. Now I am not talking about losing weight or something like that. Even though I really could stand to drop a few pounds. This year I want to spend more time being the man God has called us to be. There was a meme on Facebook that really sent a message to me and I hope you can take something from it as well.

Here are the words from the Meme: “Less Me, Less Pride, Less Anger, Less Drama, Less Gossip, Less Bitterness, Less Complaining, Less Selfishness and More Jesus”!

If you’re at all like me, there were a few “lesses” that I could use and one “More” that I need a whole lot more of! Jesus gave us two missions. First is to love one another as He loves us and second is to spread the gospel to all mankind. I pray that you will join me in making these “our” New Year Resolutions!

    God Bless,
    Glenn
